The Ekol Crystal 12 Mk 2 Wood Stove is a highly efficient, 12kW cast iron stove that is DEFRA approved and Eco-design ready, making it suitable for use in smoke control areas. It is a traditionally-styled yet modern appliance designed for heating large rooms and open-plan living spaces.

• Construction: The stove is handcrafted from robust, traditional cast iron, built for durability and featuring no delicate parts.
• Heating Performance: It has a powerful nominal heat output of 12kW, with a wide operating range of 4kW to 12kW, and an efficiency rating of 77% (Energy Rating A).
• Clean Burning Technology: Utilising advanced ultra-clean-burning technology and a powerful airwash system, the stove produces less ash and ensures the large ceramic glass window remains crystal clear for an uninterrupted view of the unique flame patterns.
• Fuel Flexibility: While set up as a dedicated wood-burning stove, an optional multi-fuel grate kit can be easily retrofitted, allowing for the burning of both wood and smokeless fuels. It can accommodate logs up to 480mm in length.
• Environmental Standards: It is DEFRA-approved for use in smoke control areas and meets the latest SIA Ecodesign Ready standards, ensuring an environmentally friendly and efficient burn.
• Controls: The stove provides precise control over the fire with primary, secondary, and tertiary air controls.
• Optional Feature: An optional light-reactive mirror stove glass is available, designed to hide the firebox and ash marks when the stove is not lit.
• Installation: It features an interchangeable top or rear 6-inch (150mm) flue outlet and is suitable for installation on a 12mm non-combustible hearth.
