Bioethanol fires for built-in media walls provide a real flame without the structural requirements of a chimney and without the mess of soot or debris. Most modern models offer a "3-in-1" installation flexibility, allowing you to configure them as one-sided, two-sided, or three-sided units during the build process.

• Heat Output: Most residential bioethanol fires produce between 2kW and 3kW of heat, comparable to a standard electric fan heater. High-output or large built-in models can reach 5kW to 8kW.
• Efficiency: They are roughly 98-100% efficient because no heat escapes up a chimney; all warmth is radiated directly into the room.
• Burn Time: A typical 1-litre fuel capacity lasts between 3 to 5 hours depending on the flame setting. Some larger burners with 8-10 litre tanks can burn for up to 11 to 14 hours.
